Design And Implemeentation Of Yan'an Portal

With the rapid development of network technology in the 21st century, information service has been developed well in the big portal websites in our country. Since the big portal websites are exposed to the whole country, the local-featured information resources are relative scattered, and it is difficult for users to retrieve information. In order to adapt to the economic development and propagandize the local culture, building area portal website during the early development of local information construction has great potentials for development.Based on the analysis of internet development home and abroad, relating to the present situation of Yan'an internet development, this paper discusses the construction of a website in Yan'an, aiming to improve the backward methods in information exchange and culture transmission. The construction follows the principles of internet website construction and analyzes the orientation of the prospect and feasibility of the website aim to build a comprehensive portal website which includes news distribution, cultural forum, information classification, and other secondary sub-sites in Yan'an.During the development process, the construction, first, bases on the local culture background of Yan'an, the construction makes the analysis of the plan and demand for the image and chief headings of the website; by using UML module language as the tool of system demand and software design, the construction presents detailed analyses design for the chief modules such as news distribution, culture discussion and information exchange in the system. Then, by integrating ASP technology with Microsoft SQL Server 2005 database, the construction realizes a web system of multi-functional modules based on the frame of B/S (Browser/Sever), and mainly tests the function and performance of the system. Finally, by applying international top domain name, the construction puts a record of the domain name, submits the website to the server and realizes the operation of the website on the Internet.
