Application Of Cooperative Communication In HF Network

HF communication places great role in military communication. But poor stability of HF channel results in low capacity and poor reliability of the system. As MIMO's new application, cooperative communication can solve the problem effectively. By using the cooperation of multiple users to construct the virtual MIMO channel, mobile terminal can obtain transmission diversity and improve the uplink transmission quality of the wireless communication system. In order to improve the quality of HF communication transmission, it is natural to introduce cooperative communication into HF network.This paper mainly studies the application of cooperative communication in HF communication network. The relevant knowledge of the HF communication network is introduced. Then, the traditional diversity technology, the concept and the principle of cooperative communication are studied, and emphasis is placed on the application of Alamouti space-time block codes in the cooperative communication. Cooperative communication based HF communication network model is given and some theoretical analysis is made. Extensive evaluation shows that cooperative communication can improve the channel capacity of HF communication, and greatly decrease the error probability of the transmission. In the end, some conclusion and the future are given.
