In modern society, the demand of people to the quality and rate of mobilecommunication is increasing. Linear Dispersion Codes, which can make a propertrade-off between diversity gain and multiplexing gain, has became one of the keytechnologies in the next wireless communication systems. Meanwhile, researcherspropose a novel communication technology called Cooperative Communication inorder to solve problem that the volume, power and manufacturing technique of mobileterminal are restricted. Cooperative Communication technology is running in a multi-user environment. Each user in that system has its partners, and it forms a virtualMIMO system by mutually sharing the antennas among numbers of adjacent single-antenna users. With the aid of this technology, the practical process of MIMO isimproved obviously. The stresses in this paper are the encoding and decodingperformances of distributed Linear Dispersion Codes and its utilization in CooperativeCommunication network. For the issues that the decoding complexity of traditional Linear Dispersion Code ishigh, an Adaptive Linear Dispersion Code is proposed and its utilization inCooperative Communication network is researched in this paper. ALDC could selectdifferent modulation orders and dispersion matrix adaptively, according to currentchannel states, and attempt to achieve optimal BER performance over various SNR,while complexity of decoding is low.On the other hand, for the issues that the decoding of Linear Dispersion Code incooperative communication system is difficult, Sphere Decoding algorithm, ListDecoding algorithm and their utilizations in Cooperative Communication network isresearched in this paper. The functional relationship between complexity and Signal toNoise Ratio is analyzed. It is compared with Maximum Likelihood decoding on BitError Rate and complexity by computer simulation...
