When the car is in operation, tremendous induced emf will appear due to load dump effect, this induced emf will damage low-voltaged integrated circuit.One of the hot topic in the automotive industry is design and manufacture high reliability rectifier diodes which can absorb the induced emf.The rapid development of the automotive industry demand china to develop the technology to end the phenomenon that all diodes used in automotive haves to be imported.so, this paper develop a high-reliability high-power avalanche rectifiers for automotive.This paper introduces the silicon avalanche rectifier diode rectifier theory,analysis the development of high-power silicon avalanche diode rectifier and present the prospects and significance of silicon avalanche diode rectifier;present the significance of design low pressure in the press-fit silicon avalanche diode rectifier;comparison between domestic standards and foreign standards,between Bosch press-fit diode and Actron press-fit diode helps to further understanding avalanche rectifier diodes'performance;based on the comparison of the three avalanche rectifier,through structural,thermal and mechanical design,a high-power rectifier diodes for car is presented. Related diode performance testing has been made and the results meet and surpass the national standard.This article is the design of high reliability,long life,maximum operating junction temperature and high reverse surge resistance avalanche rectifier diodes,which has broad prospects in both high-end market and low-end market.
