With the improvement of the airspeed and mobility of the aircraft, the cockpitbecomes more and more complexed. Dualing the flighting, pilots need to surch what heneed from such more bearings and do tactics. The pilots have a big working load thataffect the improvement of situation awareness of the pilot. In addition, nowadayscombat aircraft need to all-weather take off and landing and the influence of the climateas small as possible. So, enhanced vision and synthetic vision system has been proposedfor improvement of"visibility"of aircraft and management of the flighting bearing datato reduce the working load and incress the situation awareness of the pilot.Enhanced vision and synthetic vision is a relatively new research field and it has agood application driven by the research and development of multi-source informationfusion. The enhanced vision system is overlay the vision from FLIR(Forward LookingInfrared) or MMW(Millimeter Wave Radar) on HUD and display some important flightdata on PFD. The synthetic vision system is fused the vision based on sensor(such asFLIR or MMW ) and the vision based on database(such as digital terrain data,obstacledatabase and approach data), and then overlay the attitude information of aircraft suchas airspeed, altitude and attitude.In the paper, we designed a synthetic display system based on DM642 andDSP/BIOS operation system that can capture multi-channel video and display onechannelvideo information and overlay digital bearings on vision. At first, we introducethe basic graphic generating and anti-aliasing technique, all of these are the basic ofconstruction of graphic operating system. Secondly, we introduce the hardware systembased on DM642. Then, construction of graphic operating system based on DSP/BIOSmicro operating system is introduced, and implement of drawing PFD, NVD co.bearings. Finally, with the multi-video capture and display, we overlay the bearings onthe vision captured real time, realize the purpose of the vision enhanced.
