The research works are made with scientific projects, the parameters of notebook antenna, detect antenna and wideband antenna are presented. The context of the thesis is divided into three parts. A novel notebook antenna which is conformal with the metal shell is given in part one. A new type of microstrip detect antenna, with properties of narrow-band, small size and high gain is given in part two. A biconical antenna worked at 200MHz-2000MHz is given in part three. The context can be summarized as following:Firstly, with the target of the notebook antennas which have the characteristics of dual-frequency and small size, the antennas prototypes are finally developed after the simulation of Ansoft HFSS. Specially, the antenna designs are in the form of slot antenna in order to be conformal with the all metal shell. The measurement results of the antenna prototypes are as expected. The VSWR are below 3 over the working frequency band which can cover GSM850/900/1800/1900/UMTS band for notebook computer wireless communications. One of the antenna efficiency is above 30%. It shows that the design is valuable in engineering practice.Secondly, according to the requests of antenna index and microstrip antenna theory, a new type of detect antenna whose gain is more than 12dB is designed by Ansoft HFSS. The antenna index requires it has the properties of small size and smart patch shape, so the patch distance and ground size need to be analysised and adjusted. By measurement of the prototype, the VSWR of the antenna is below 2 over the working frequency band. It has a good radiation patterns with its gain greater than 12dBi. Then, the antenna is able to be products for the factory.Finally, the paper presents a wideband biconical antenna worked at 200MHz-2000MHz. Using Ansoft HFSS, It has observed the variations of Omni-directional radiation pattern in horizontal plane by changing one cones'angle and covering different dielectric radome. By theoretic analysis and simulation results, it is useful for engineering applications.
