Study And Research On Transform Between Images And Vector

Now the digital image processing theory is widely applied to many fields, and raster image vectorization technique which is based on digital image processing techniques has been developed to a certain scale, and the corresponding algorithm on the market at present is mature, and these vector softwares have been widely used in engineering drawing and engineering control etc. But these vector graphics cann't be recognized by Photoshop or etc, so this is a waste of resource. This article will implement mutual transform software of raster image represented by BMP image and vector graphics represented by DXF graphics by using image processing technology combining with VC6.0 programming. This software can not only transform bmp image into DXF format to make vector graphics processing software's modification more perfect, but also transform DXF vector graphics into BMP image, in favor of recreation of image processing softwares such as Photoshop or etc.BMP image is currently one of the most popular image formats because of its rich resources, handy accesses and clear image formats ,so it is widely used in Windows system. This article analyses each component and coding standard of BMP files and DXF files in detail, which laid the foundation of following transform of images and graphics. Then we use series of digital image processing operations, which contain image gray scale , image binaryzation, filtering, contour extraction and vectorization and so on, to complete replacing BMP images to DXF graphics each other, Finally we realize mutual transformation of BMP image on behalf of raster image and DXF graphic on behalf of vector graphic according to the respective BMP and DXF file formats,.This article is based on digital image processing theory and advanced knowledge, and it realizes mutual transformation between BMP image on behalf of raster image and DXF graphic on behalf of vector graphic. This method helps image processing softwares such as Photoshop or etc make former inoperable DXF files reedited and recreated.
