With the improvement of the science and technology of human society, nowadays, human civilization is in the era of the 21st century. No matter the scientific research, environmental protection in the sea, or the recourse investigation and exploitation in the seafloor, all of them need us to fix the "eyes" in the unknown world thousands of meters below, which is called the third observation platform in the geo-science--seafloor observatory network. And the seafloor camera system is an indispensably important part in the seafloor observatory network; it has favorable economic and practical benefit, and is one of the basic methods in the seafloor observation.This program is a subtask of a maritime monitoring technology subject in resource and environment field, which belongs to the National High-tech Research and Development Program (863 Torch Program), it puts forward a feasible program, designs a set of seafloor camera systems with the basis of seafloor observatory network finally, and does the experiments successfully in the sea by aiming at the current situation of the seafloor observatory network domestic and overseas and the needs of the seafloor camera system researched in this program. It divides into 7 chapters:Chapter one:Introduce the seafloor camera system in the seafloor observatory network briefly, and on that basis, put forward the research content and difficulties of this program.Chapter two:Introduce the basic scheme of Video Surveillance in the ordinary places, present the overall schemes of this project and finish the lectotype of the system devices.Chapter three:Introduce the software and hardware of the system; raise the practical proposals of the surveillance of the camera system.Chapter four:Do the theoretical calculation; model simulation and engineering design to the data processing house of the sealing images by the camera system, and do the pressure resistance experiment to the designed house.Chapter five:Design the fixed installing support of the camera system when do the experiment in the sea.Chapter six:Do the reliable experiment to the system repeatedly, and resolve the contradiction between the camera system and the power system of the Junction-box effectively, And proposed method of video transmission interference, get a conclusion of the research and experiment, and make it become successful in the experiment done in the sea.Chapter seven:Get a conclusion of the thesis, and make some imagination for the future research.
