The Design And Implementation Of The Online Training And Certification System For Outward Bound Trainer

Outward bound is a new training model.It draws on the international current form and ideas of training and bases on the theories of management, psychology, organizational behavior, and leadership. It is a training method to improve the trainee's mental and physical diathesis by "learning by doing". In this way, the trainee's diathesis of organizational leadership, communication and coordination can be improved in a short period of time. Therefore, the outward bound is an advanced training theory, and represents the future way of quality-oriented education and adult training. Outward Bound trainer is a kind of professional training staff who masters the basic training methods and skills, knows the safety regulation for operation, and ensures the normal operation and management of the outward bound. The training for outward bound trainers consists of two part, theoretical training and practice. So, the certification of its qualification will introduced the form which integrates the theory test with the practice evaluation.Currently, there are not clear rules about the training and certification of the outward bound trainer in our country, and three methods are popular now:First, use the work skills training center within the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security as a base for authentication; second is authentications hosted by some famous internal universities; third is authentications conducted independently by some large-scale outward bound bases. In current trade of training and certification of the outward bound trainer, there are many problems such as the unenlightened training mode, the nonstandard training operation, the undemanding certification of qualification, the confused certification management, and so on. This article applied the information technology to the process of training and certification, and achieved preliminary successes in some respects, such as regulating the training contents and standards, exploring the method of the certification management, reducing the cost of the training. Currently, there is not similar research interiorly yet.Through in-depth analysis of the current deficiencies and shortcomings in the trade of outward bound trainer's training and certification, determine the characteristic of the system and the problems prepare to be resolved. In this article, adopting the idea combined the requirements enlightenment and acquirement technology with the AM-RUP development mode, and using UML as representation language, we describe the requirement and architecture of the system in detail. System generally adopted a B/S and C/S combined architecture based on J2EE. It can simplified system's maintenance, at the same time, implement the effective management of the database, and lighten the data server's load. Otherwise, we use the iReport and jasperReport to implement the remote filling, automatic generation, preview, printing, downloading, and export of various report forms.The management of online training and certification is the crux of the system. Against this, we design a more complete profession model of online training and certification process management, integrate online training with practical training dynamically, thereby maximizing the benefits of abound resources and normalized contents of. the system. Otherwise, we standardize the contents of practice training, and realize the monitoring and management for the process of practice training and certification.According to actual needs, we divide the system into four subsystems: 1, online training subsystem; 2, qualification certification subsystem; 3, practice training and certification in base subsystem; 4, outward bound trainer inquiry subsystem. After communion with some internal organization of outward bound, we determine the difficulty of the system, the process management of certification. According to its characteristics, we analyze and discuss it in detail and design the complete monitoring method. Specifically, we design the online applying, online certification, and online querying models, and we code and implement some representative parts of them.
