3D Reconstruction And Related Measurement Of The Permanent Teeth

The development of computer hardware and software has made the 3D model become more and more popular in our life,work,and entertainment.How to acquire realistic 3D model is a major research topic in either computer vision or computer graphics.The technology of 3D reconstruction is the hot spot and the difficulty of the computer vision,artificial intelligence and virtual reality in some front areas,which is one of the most significant challenges in both basic research and applied research human beings have to face.The 3D reconstruction based on images is an important research part of image processing and is one major measure of 3D modelling.As the basis of the popular areas of virtual reality and science vision,the 3D reconstruction based on images is widely used in examination and observation and there is far-reaching signifinance in 3D reconstruction of the medicial images. The thesis mainly contains 3 parts as follows:The 3D reconstruction of the the permanent teeth and the root cannals.According to the series of Micro-CT images of the permanent teeth, aiming at the problem of the measurement of the teeth shape, the visualization model of the permanent tooth is obtained, using the method of surface rendering. Depending upon the powerful functions of VTK,with the programming condition of visual studio 2008,using the contour matching,the paper obtained the 3D reconstruction of the permanent teeth and the root cannals.The body reconstruction of the permanent teeth and the root cannals.In this part,the results of 3D reconstruction are saved as the common format file of 3D modeling software.That is,the STL format file.And then the STL format file is imported into the 3D modeling software. According to the functions of the curve and surface modeling,the body reconstruction of the the permanent teeth and the root cannals are obtained.The related measurement of the root cannals. According to the 2D curve of the buccolingual direction and the near far direction of the root cannals and fitting the line,the smooth curve of the 3D centerline of the root cannal is got.Using the order of analysis in UG,the paper measures the related parameters of the length,the location of peak and the peak of the curvature of the root cannals.The thesis combines the VTK with VS2008 and UG in medicial area perfectly.The 3D reconstruction and the body reconstruction of the permanent teeth and the root cannals are obtained,and the related parameters of the root cannals are got.lt made some exploratory research for building the high resolution for chinese permanent teeth's mathematical model and the revelant measurement in geometry.
