In the recent years of communication, the fastest growing and widest deployed technique is wireless communication. The two key problems in wireless communication are increasing bandwidth efficiency and decreasing multipath decline.OFDM technique can efficiently solve frequecy related decline problem, while MIMO technique can provide obviouse gain and increase capacity for systems. so, OFDM and MIMO are the most populate area in wireless transmission nowadays. MIMO-OFDM gathers advantages from both techniques.The purpose for this paper is to using power-bit algorithm, to distribute power bits on subchannels in MIMO-OFDM system, therefore get best efficiency of systems under certain complexity. For this purpose, this artical first presents characristics for the mobile wireless subchannels, the third chapter introduces MIMO's basics and some key techniques, and in particular MIMO's system capacity problem. the fourth chapter introduces the OFDM technique basics. Because of the channel information CSI\s importance to the power bit distribution, this paper also introduces some classic channel estimation methods. the fifth chapter introduces MIMO-OFDM system's basics and functionality. the sixth chapter analyzes MIMO-OFDM systems power bit distribution problem, in particular maximazing channel capacity, optimazing performance and minimazing transmit power. it also simulates and compares water algorithm, error bit rate optimaze algorithm, and second best optimaze algorithm. and finally comes up with a new algorithm for distributing power bit, and proves the efficiency of it through simulation.
