Design And Realization Of Online College Office Automation System Based On ASP.NET

With the arrival and development of the information age, internet has already become indispensable for people's life, study and work. Office automation (OA) has also become an essential method for data processing and information exchange in every department. The past's management by means of hand and paper could not meet the requirements of modern work.Under such circumstance, OA.(office automation) comes into being. OA refers to a platform that centers on computer and adopts a series of office equipment and advanced technology in the administration department. OA aims to shorten work hours, improve work efficiency, assure work quality, and make work reach the level of regularization, standardization, and intellectualization by collecting, processing, storing and utilizing the information in fast and comprehensive way.OA platform is to improve work proficiency and quality and many OA platforms have been designed in many fields and OA technology has also reached the level of perfection. Although there have already been many mature OA platforms at home and abroad, some of which are even designed to meet the ordinary demand or for the educational department, yet there is still no platform, which could not only meet the specified demands but also bear no redundancy for the office of independent college. There are many characteristics of its own with regard to its management for the independent college. For example, it is the third-level college run according to a new way. It is also dependant on its body campus, and therefore should keep consistency with its mother campus regarding to its administrative management. But independent college also has its own management system. Therefore, it is necessary to design an OA platform for it.Based on ASP.NET platform, this project aims to design a comprehensive OA platform for Jingu College, an independent college of Tianjin Normal University, by using SQL server 2005 database technology. Designed according to the principle of easy operation, precise process and high efficiency, the system will strictly follow the office procedure of Jingu College and realize the function as the platform for internal bulletin board, file transmission, colleague's communication, instant exchange, and work attendance check, thus providing a good way for easy, high-efficient, and no-paper office management.After a period of operation,the system has worked stably and achieved the pre-set goal. This article explains and analyses the technology related to the development of the platform.
