The community's increasingly urgent demand of product diversity and low manufacturing costs, as well as short manufacturing cycle, owing to the development of micro-electronics technology, computer technology, communication technology, machinery and control equipment, flexible manufacturing technology is increasingly mature. In the modern manufacturing industry, flexible manufacturing system gains a wide range of applications, due to which unique"soft"and"automatic". FMS implementation is a complicated systems engineering. The paper which according to the SRS-F01 small scale FMS of my department discussed the FMS's some elements and technologies which covered by the system constitutes, theoretical modeling, real-time communications, monitoring and other issues. The main study content of the article is as follows:1,The composition and function of SRS-F01 which including the control system, the logistics system , manufacturing system, measuring system.2,Establishing a system model by using Petri Net. FMS is a typical Discrete Event Dynamic System (DEDS), whose characteristics include various kinds of system frameworks, event triggering frequently, multiple control objects, a large amount of information, a complex system structure. Petri Net can conveniently describe the DEDS characteristics of concurrence, conflict, synchronization and is chosen as the tool of modeling.3,the N:N Network creation and parameters setting based on PLC were finished. It also gives the PLC network establishment programs and some controlling programs. The article also realized effectively the communications between PLC and touch screen, the communications between PLC and Motion Controlling Card, the communications between PLC and CNC, the communications between PLC and robot.4,Developing monitoring system. Use the software"Kingview"and design corresponding picture. Through the acquisition of signal equipment on-site, real-time tracking system state, transmitting dynamic pictures of on-site information, the monitoring module is designed and developed.
