In recent years, with the rapid development of electric and computer techniques, the embedded technology is widely applied in each aspect of some industries. Measurement and Control System is a combination of embedded system and general-purpose computer basically. Industrial equipment realizes automation and intelligence step by step, so control domain have a more higher requirement to embedded system in the real-time and processing ability. Along with the development of chip production technology, microprocessor performance increases considerably. However, the problems of weakness of processing capability, limitation of sampling points and weak real-time ability still remains in Measurement and Control System.One reason is single microcontroller's finite processing capability, another is software system in Measurement and Control System.Based on the problems above,this paper proposes the solutions of building Measurement and Control System by multi-microprocessor,and research on application of embedded real-time operating system in Measure and Control System. According to the characteristics of IIC bus, the paper designs a temperature control system using one master and some slave processors. The mater controller sends control command or receives commands from PC. The slaver processors collect data from field and processes them.As a result, the method improves the capability of the system and accelerates the speed of processing. Finally, the paper research real-time of Measurement and Control System in aspect of embedded real time operating system. It succeeds on porting the OS to the system and research on the real-time OS in the system and takes some reasonable multi-task assignment and scheduling algorithm so as to improve the real-time performance of the system. The hardware platform of embedded system is set up. Master microprocessor can carry out task scheduling and send commands.Slave microprocessor can gather data on temperature, process them and control the DC motor. The system succeeds on measuring and controlling data by porting a embedded real time operating system to it at last. The article offers valuable reference for this article solving some problems in measuring and controlling system.
