With the devoloment and widely application of the Radio Frequency Identification(RFID) in different areas, more and more RFID users begin to consider whether their privacy has been leaked by their labels, and particularly the RFID technology using businesses also worry about their business secrets,so information security is an important aspect of the RFID technology in future. After the RFID technology and cryptography study,a UHF RFID communication security program has been proposed,the program includes authentication and data encryption.Double Index-Mutual Authentication agreement was designed based on HASH function.The agreement can complete mutual certification between the reader and the tag, and it can prevent the enemy tracking by the index value dynamic refreshing.The agreement adopts double index query methods, so it can reduce the computation and resolve out-of-step problems caused by active attacks.According to the agreement, the tag without a random number generator, can effectively reduce its cost and size.In the hardware design, there are three parts, including a pseudo-random number generator, a HASH module and a cryptogram generator. Both the pseudo-random number generator and the cryptogram generator used the stream ciper theory,but based on their own characters,these two parts were separately designed, and their performance parameter were analyzed.In this paper,the HASH module adopted the SHA-1 algorithm of U.S.A. NIST organization.The system selected cycloneâ…¡EP2C8Q208C8 chip,and adopted VHDL programming method.Then the experiments were carried out and the analysis results were given in the paper.Finally, the paper summary and the further research directions were given.
