In this paper,the development and application in the future of tunable pulse Ti:sapphire laser is introduced.Through the establishment of the Ti:sapphire laser rate equations,discussion of various parameters on the output efficiency and time characteristics of the laser,to combine with simulation of MATLAB software, a birefringent filter(BF)was designed. In practical work,an experimental prototype and proper detection system are manufactured. The green light of 532 nm is used to pump Ti-doped sapphire through the Galilean telescope to focus on. Tunable output is achieved in the range of 680nm-800nm and 800nm~900nm,and the wavelength,energy and pulse width of the pulse tunable titanium-doped sapphire laser are measured and analysed. |
