| Network virtual experiment could support distance learning of the experimental teaching. Feedback is an important factor on understanding virtual experimental and the key to using virtual experiment harminiously for learners. So, It is very important to enhance the research of feedback design in the aim of the efficiency of self-education on various types of feedback provided by system without teachers' direct instruction.Currently, the feedback design research mostly have been focused on network teaching system development and implementation, teaching methodology in classroom and network, class management and interactive feedback system in class, etc. It leads to the dull experimental interface, dogma process and fail to provide feedback in time, which attributes to making students appear "helpless" and "lost" easily and feel lonely and frustrated. The quality of experiment teaching is out of control. As for the above mentioned problems,the author hopes that the problems will be expored and the tentative breakthrough be reached from the perspective of feedback, which will be instructive and helpful to the learners.Through the investigation and study on the relevant teaching theories and present situation of feedback design applied to network teaching research both at home and abroad, this article classifies feedback types in the application of education and teaching. On the basis of relevant feedback analysis,it outlines feedback characteristics in virtual experiment. Based on related theories of feedback design, this paper proposes four levels of feedback design in virtual experiment. On this basis, it analyzes situs of virtual experiment feedback,draws up the feedback principle to guide the virtual experiment feedback design and development process.This article consists five parts:The research background is introduced in chapter one. The current reaearch on the theory and practice of network virtual experiment are analyzed. Through the domestic and foreign literature review, summary on the virtual experiment and research status of feedback design are reached. Bases on these, "feedback design research of virtual experiment" is launched and the research thoughts and methodology are demonstrated.The conotation of feedback is summarized and types of feedback are clarified based upon the related feedback theories both home and abroad.
