In today's world , economic globalization and technological advance by leaps and bounds. Many countries and regions take the improvement of the technology as the key technology innovation ability ,the technology investment as strategic investment. They greatly increased investment in science and technology .Along with the increase of financial investment projects, people pay more and more attention to the production technology references, more and more factories make their attention to the Automated Guided Vehicles which is a car doesn't need driver .They own many advantages like the higher automation, the vivid application and simple construction. They are safe , reliable and convenient to the maintenance. These advantages provide inexpensive transportation and handling tools to the factories. They make more technology and benefits to the company.Taking the independently developed Automated Guided Vehicles(AGV)of our institute as research object,from the practical demand of engineering application,kinematic modeling,composition of control system,distance measure experiment by ultrasonic sensor, treating and fitting of sensor data,lateral localization and obstacle avoidance during practical development process of AGV are analyzed and researched deeply by mechanical engineer, computer control,sensor detection and signal process technology.Kinetics modeling beyond on the movement of structure with two parallel wheels, and analyzing and researching the ex-driving and empress-driving on the kinetics. The phenomenon of rear-end collision in the process of fulfillment encourages the interests of principle analysis and study of the theory of sensor . In the text, concreting on research of the analysis and research of the principle .At the end, the research of the avoiding obstacles problem and the research of the ultrasonic location and avoiding obstacles.As the study in this paper is completed in the process of developing several types of AGV, the new thoughts and methods presented in the paper can be tested practically and corrected in time.Thus,the methods and relevant conclusions in the paper are originated from practical development process and can be referenced in the design and development of AGV.
