Course arrangement is a very important task for every school. Especially in recent years, with the rapid development of education in China, the number of the students is increasing constantly. So course schedule has become the key task of the education administration. Now, most colleges especially most junior and senior middle schools still use manual methods to make the curriculum. This method will not only spend a lot of time but also make lots of mistakes. So it might affect the teaching schedule. Along with the computers widespread and its popularization and because of the computer's strong capacity and quick speed people began to use computer to arrange the curriculum. So computers access to educational administration easily. But every university has lots of differences in resource allocation and teaching conditions. It is difficult to design suitable computer curriculum software for colleges. Some software is not ideal some even just plays the auxiliary function. In order to improve the work efficiency of college educational management, in this paper the author USES the improved genetic algorithm to optimize the Course scheduling system.To arrange the curriculum scientifically, we have to consider different factors such as time courses students classrooms,etc. To use the optimized arrangement system, they can avoid teaching conflicts. So if they want to make the best curriculum we must comply with the code and basic principle. On this way, we meet the auxiliary constraints, and make people-oriented, arrange the right time and the classroom for every course. This article expounds on the course arrangement and gives us the mathematical model. It analysis all the system in our college, gives original the algorithm model and the specific terms of parameters and constraints specific optimization programs. It based on three-dimensional coding and sign function. It is adaptive genetic algorithm and applies to the Arrangement System. We use Delphi7.0 for the front to development tools and Microsoft Office software, the Access2003 database as background; it will improve the original Course Scheduling System that uses adaptive genetic algorithm, and optimize the Scheduling System. And the optimized systems were tested and arranged.
