In rencent years,yellow band(55O~600nm) laser has a special purpose fields in medical,biological,display,and astronomical observation etc.The red, green, and blue light in visible can be generated with high conversion efficiency by doubling the frequency of Nd:YAG lasers.However, by this way,the yellow light is generated difficultly because of the absence of the corresponding fundamental frequency for the Nd:YAG lasers. This paper focuses on the Raman of solid-state yellow laser's theoretical analysis and experimental research.In the first chapter we outlines the characteristics of the LD pumped all-solid-state-laser, yellow laser's applications and securable methods,and 579nm yellow laser research progress in the world.In the second chapter we basically discusses the nonlinear optical techniques.Har-monic theory and Raman scattering theory are showed in this chapter.Then we compares two types of common frequency doubling crystals,and introduces the selection principle and matching way of nonlinear crystal.In the third chapter, all solid-state lasers'some technologies are discussed for the theory support of our experiment.We compares the nature of two different laser crystals,and analyses the basic theory of Q-swith laser.Then we expounds the fundamental of the design for the resonant cavity.In the fourth chapter the experiments are studied,and we tslks over the test design scheme and ensures the parametric for the yellow laser.At last,we successfully get a maximum output 630mW of the yellow laser and 579nm laser with power 364mW and pulse width 10.8ns through EOM,and analyse the last result.We explain the summary and outlook for this thesis in the last part...
