CCD board camera has been widely used in machine vision application development process with small size, low power consumption, high adaptability, high portability and versatility features, to meet the needs of various industrial and agricultural production. With the promotion of high-tech things and the level of semiconductor integration technology in the field of embedded machine vision, CCD camera plate prospect will become increasingly large, potential market development also has important practical significance.This topic comes from the research cooperation project "Research and development of embedded machine vision controller" (contract number:07398).After collecting images, this paper reduces noise, adjusts round ring or inclined characters into horizontal characters based on the ROI; Demand for machine vision information to enhance the characteristics of a high-performance image processing TI TMS320DM642 DSP company as a processing core, combined with FPGA technology and modular design, design and implement a structure simple and clear, stable performance embedded machine vision color CCD board camera.Thesis, Bayer color filter array image reconstruction of the original image information processing, access to a rich true color characteristics, and on this basis adds adaptive white balance processing, reducing the visual impact of differences in image color cast and handling errors, under needs of different users to add color correction to increase the color contrast; with a variety of color characteristics of model space, implemented in the HSL color space extraction tool and color shading processing tools, combined with the YCrCb color space to achieve a grayscale image, color CCD board camera for the gray color of the suitability requirements for the development of the Bayer raw grayscale image data tool.In the paper studied and analyzed the key technology of CCD board camera in detail and in depth from the aspect of development of product and project research, and implemented and optimized the capabilities of each software module with the second platform, the PC platform and the embedded underlying platform, realized the project design target in the aspect of functionality and real-time requirements. This paper have repeated tests on program process, algorithm as well as running time, experiment results indicate that the acquisition speed can be up to 30fps which can transfer 640 * 480 non-compressed color image data; Color image reconstruction time is 34ms, the white balance processing time is 35ms, meeting the requirements of actual site; The extraction rate of color image can achieve 98% or more, sufficiently validated the usefulness of the subject.
