Quantum cryptography communication is an interdisciplinary which is based on the principle of classical communication and quantum mechanics. As the superiority of unconditional safety, it becomes a new secure communication technology. Quantum key distribution(QKD) based quantum communication will be applied commercially firstly.The quantum key distribution system developed in this dissertation can perform BB84 and B92 protocol, respectively. Firstly, Winio software package is applied to control the parallel port to send light pulses at the sender and a data acquisition card is used to collect data at the receiver. Secondly, the principle and the implementation method of the two protocols are discussed. Through Winsock network programming software package, the classical information between the sender and the receiver can be transfered. Thirdly,a software module is implemented with which a picture can be encrypted and deencrypted by AES algorithm. Fourthly, by using the MFC the graphical user interface of Quantum Communication Platform , in which encrypted picture transferring and QKD are realized. Finally,the whole paper is summarized and some problems that worth considering in future are given.
