The architecture of multi-core network equipment test system is proposed based on analyzing the traditional test technology of network equipment and design pattern of Tilera multi-core system, and combining the feature of test system and multi-core processor system architecture. The scheme of system design is proposed, and the function modules of multi-core test system are implemented in this paper.The network equipment test system based on multi-core include network communication layer module, command process module, stream process module and analog devices layer management module. The function of receiving and sending data in test system is implemented in network communication layer module using the user-defined protocol between host computer system and multi-core test system, and the data mapping of external data to tile kernel queue in multi-core system is completed using IPP. The function of system tasks scheduling and allocation is designed and implemented in the command process module. The decomposition process of task is implemented in stream process module, and the performance is improved. The management of the multi-core status and work pattern in multi-core system is implemented in analog devices layer management module, and the complex structure in multi-core system is shielded, thus the united management interface is provided for host computer system.The basic performance test, random test of cryptographic algorithm, penetration test and other test sevices is provided by the multi-core network equipment test system designed and implemented in this paper. The extended scheme of test system is proposed, and optimal solution is provided for the extension of system function.
