Research On Signal Detection Technology Of Distributed MIMO

Distributed Antenna MIMO is a new communication structure which comes from the traditional point-to-point MIMO of centralized antenna structure combined with the technology of distributed antenna. As the developing tendency of MIMO technology, Distributed Antenna MIMO has the advantages of low power, wide coverage, open structure and low electromagnetic damage. However, the geographic distributing of antennas leads to that the detection scheme in Centralized Antenna MIMO can not be directly applied in Distributed Antenna MIMO system. This article begins with the mathematical modeling of the Distributed Antenna MIMO channel, coherent detection of Distributed Antenna MIMO system with this model and discussion of the factors which affect the detection performance. Then we do research on the Distributed Antenna MIMO detection method based on QR decomposing which is against the complexity and bad single antenna detection performance in coherent detection and proposed a new detection method base on QR decomposing which can not only lower the complexity but also advance the performance. In the end of this article we combined the detection technology with OFDM and proposed a new scheme for signal detection in CoMP system.
