In response to the trend of mobile and broadband, 3GPP proposed the long-term 3G evolution at the end of 2004. According to the statistics, 60%~70% of the wireless communication traffic is generated indoor. The emergence of femtocell provides a new thread to increase the indoor coverage of LTE-Advanced system. In this thesis, two interference coordination approaches are investigated for LTE-Advanced system. In the first scheme, based on the transmit power of femtocells and the distance between each other, the ratio of interference area is computed. By the ratios, all femtocells are divided into groups. Spectrum resource is assigned finally with respect to the ratios and the grouping results. In the second scheme, quasi-orthogonal user groups are constructed by virtue of orthogonal complement space and Gram-Schmidt. The proposed algorithm greatly suppresses co-channel interference. Simulation results illustrate the advantages of the proposed mechanisms. |
