AUTOMATED testing techniques is studied for the demand for testing of mobile communication products which based on the analysis of the characterization of the third generation mobile communication system, and a common system for mobile communications in the automated testing platform, ATP (Automatic Testing Platform) is proposed, which is adapted to mobile communication systems software unit testing, integration testing and system testing. This article focuses on the overall design of the ATP and the detailed design of the various subsystems, the deal flow during a specific test of ATP, and then through the unit testing, integration testing and system testing analysis of TD-SCDMA wireless access system software of system being test by the ATP, the design and implementation process of automated test platform, applications of ATP in the automated testing is expounded in detail. The further development of ATP automated testing platform is discussed in the end.ATP adopts automatically generated pile function and driver code unit testing methods, which can reduce the manual labor in unit tests, improve the efficiency of unit testing, implement automated testing; simulator Analog other entities Ways for automate testing is applied during the integration testing; controlling the real mobile phone Uu port to initiate calls is applied in system test, and the channel simulator is applied to simulate the real wireless environment, and protocol analyzer is used for automatic analysis of each message interface to achieve end-to-end automated testing.ATP can greatly reduce the testing burden, implement G3 system automatic test, avoid the substantial human inputs of manual testing, and improve test efficiency, effectiveness. It accelerates the R & D speed and improves product quality.The Main JobThis article is based on the design and implementation of automated testing platform of TD-SCDMA wireless access system and study and practice of automated testing methods.The jobs of Author in this project are as follows:Participating in TD-SCDMA system software testing, master the basic methods and flow of mobile communications system software testing.On the automated testing platform needs research, making demand analysis, key technologies and process research.Participating in the overall design of automated testing platform and subsystem module development, testing.Carrying out the development and debugging of automated test cases scripts.Applying of the test platform to the real test and accessing to recommendations for improvement and further development needs according to the actual use.
