| In this paper, it presents some background knowledge of compact and broadband about antenna. Load antenna's theory and altshuler load theory are introduced,followed by the analysis of broadband of traditional sleeve antenna and its changed forms. Based on these theories, three convergence-load compact broadband airborne knife-edge monopole antennas are designed and simulated.Three kinds of airborne knife-edge antennas are simulated and its electrical characteristics are given in detail. One kind of antennas is made and tested. The results show that it has a good broadband property. The measured results and simulated ones are in good agreement. Featuring compact, broadband, low-profile, aerodynamic-fitted, the antenna can be used as airborne antenna. |
