The efficiency of production is restricted by the low debugging speed of communication machine, and the factors that affect the communication machine's debugging speed are mannul work, relying on experience, lacking of formal and scientific debugging specifications in the process of debugging and so on. In order to improve the debugging speed of the comminication machine, the technology of debugging digitalization needs to be studied.For the process and work content of the communication machine debugging, the background, relative conception and engine of workflow technology are firstly presented in this paper, and the process model, organization model and resource model are analysed in particular. According to the above theoretical study, a communication machine debugging model based on workflow is developed, in which traditional models communication machine debugging is abstracted into three kinds of workflow models. Then combining the theory with system requirements analysis, this paper develops the overall framework of digital debugging system for the communication machine. At the same time the designation of core modules and light workflow engine are discussed in detail, namely, embedding the workflow engine into C/S architecture while using database as the back-stage supporter. Finally, the core modules of this system are completed and tested.It is showed by results of the test that this system can meet the requirment of communication machine debugging in speed. Both the efficiency and the accuracy of debugging have been improved.However, the communication machine debugging is a complex process, and the studies in this paper have certain limitations, such as how to deal with images in documentation and some situation else have not yet been studied further, and these problems will be the emphasis in the futrue.
