:The research of the multicore fiber lasers has become to a hotspot in the field of the photoelectron and lasers. The traditional multicore fiber lasers mean several middling power fiber lasers couple together in drder to improve the output power. Inside a big wide cladding, there are several uniform single mode doped fiber core having little distance and array regular. The multicore fiber lasers increase the valid core area and improve the threshold power of the non-linear effect, which will be helpful to increase the power of the high power laser with the development. Nevertheless, confined by the core area of each single mode fiber, the output power of this kind of multicore fiber lasers still restricted. In this case, in order to deal with this problem, we design a new sructure of multicore fiber lasers:In a big cladding, one multi-mode fiber laser is surrounded by several singal mode fiber lasers, the multi-mode fiber laser will be controlled by the single-mode fiber lasers arrayed around. The output of this kind of lasers could be larger than the traditional multicore fiber lasers.The advantages and structure of these lasers are depicted in this article. It starts off from the mode coupling theory, based on the symmetrical fiber coupler, a new structure twin-core fiber, which is composed by a multi-mode fiber and a single mode fiber is analysed. On condition that the refractive index of the core and the claddling is very close, the mode equation can be simplified and then solved by the methed of numberical approach. In succession, the parameters are obtained and simulated by COMSOL. On the basis of this situation, two four and six same single mode cores around the multi-mode core are analysed. Due to the mode distribution of these simulation results, we can conclude that our new structure multicore fiber lasers are feasible in theory.In order to improve the output quality of the multicore fiber lasers, we analyse the method of double-cladding multi-core fiber lasers and introduce the method of simulation. Then the cases of complete and incomplete circular distributed fiber lasrs array on condition that z=0 and z>0 are simulated. Also, the infection on account of the number of the interference combined beam, the distance between the cores,the wavelength of the lasers and the radius of the cores are analysed.In the end, the prospect and the work should be fulfilled in the future are explained.
