Research And Implementation Of Stainless Steel Plate Finishing Line Control System

As requiring more and more stainless steel products, many iron and steel corporations start to build the stainless steel product line. The thesis introduces the research, design and achievement of the product line automation control system, based on the stainless steel plate finishing product line project of some steel corporation.The project is aim to steel plate shape correcting, cut-to-length, cooling, stacking and relieving the internal stress when rolling the steel plate. The design included the schematic diagram, PLC control system, Monitor computer system.The PLC control system of this project adopts the Siemens S7-400 PLC, achieve the communication between the main PLC and the remote station by the PROFIBUS-DP communication network, achieve the communication between the main SIEMENS control system and our control system by the TCP/IP protocol. The thesis also research the roll gap APC(automatic positioning control) and the positioning control of the side guide in front of shear.Monitor computer system adopt Siemens WinCC V6.0 configuration software, the system can achieve the realtime display of the field devices state, send the control order and download the configuration of the product line, also design the function of alarm, tag archive and the trend display. By the VB script development, the monitor PC not only deal with the data which normally the level 2 computer system deal with, but also manage and search the products detail, output the report.After two months commissioning of the product line control system, the project control line was putting into production on November 8, 2009, the product line has been running steadily, the equipment is easy to operate, get the user's recognition and praise.
