In order to remedy the defects that exist in today's classroom intelligent illumination management system, this paper puts image processing technology into the intelligent illumination system. this system can automatic control the lamps according to the conditions of illumination and students. It achieves that does not turn on the lamps when the natural light is enough, turn on the lamps when the natural light is inadequate and there are students in the classroom. It also can determine the number and location of the lamps according to the number and location of student.When testing the illumination of the classroom, this paper uses the gray mean method which is easy to implement with high accuracy; In the aspect of students'identify: first, split up the possible target image region using the image segmentation method, then using the templtes matching method in this region to achieve the precise location and number of the target image. In the cause of image segmentation, thinking of the conditions that the classroom's illumination is nonuniform, and the target color is few, this paper uses fuzzy segmentation method based on H and I. At the same time, the traditional maximum membership may segment the image wrongly, this paper add a threshold to the traditional method; in the template matching, this paper proposes a method called two multi_template matching method based on the shortcomes exist in traditional method. Experiments show that the students'indentify method which combained image segmentation and temple matching can satisfy the system's requirements of high accuracy and high speed.In the end, this paper tests the image processing and identify method in the platform which based on DM6437, the results show that methods have high performance, they can work well according to the intended strategy.
