With the development of digital signal processing technology, digital audio effect processing has become one of the most active areas in digital audio technology. Many domestic and foreign institutions are studying digital audio processing technology. At present, people's demands of music appreciation are in a growing trend, and effector as an equipment which improves audio effect has been more and more popular among non-professionals; under this condition, it is particularly necessary to study the design of digital effector applied to common people.. Based on the introduction of the basic theory of digital audio processing technology, this paper emphasises on the implementation of reverberation effector. According to the characteristics of room sound, the reverberation is divided into early reverb and late diffuse. for separate processing. Through theoretical analysis, the multi-level delay line model is applied to simulate the pre-reverb; what's more, a model optimization method is proposed by this paper. Then through analysis and comparison of several reverberation models, nested and cascade allpass filters are proposed in this paper to simulate the late diffuse, which can effectively reduce the sound coloration effect and metal sound.In addition, some special effects are studied in this paper, and interpolation theory is applied to the implementation of vibrato effect, which is a more reasonable solution to the fractional delay situation and can be applied to all the time-modulation effects.Based on the theory research, simulation experiments are conducted on some effects, whose results reveal that the sound effects implemented are satisfactory.
