With the Computer technology widely and widely used in military departments, the technological development of database security has been improved to a key position. Soldier management system is applied based on the background, which firstly satisfies the requirements of reading data fluently, data being confidential to external and security. Thus a high reliability and safety should not only be the requirements of the system but also the characteristics of the data in database.Starting with reliability and security of the database system, this paper expounds the techniques of the system database. By analyzing and applying multi-level-safety-affair- adjustment, the author has solved the problem of wrong displaying reported photograph data in the use of soldier management system, which made the transactions won't conflict during reading high and low security data.The necessity of data confidentiality is based on the importance of the database date. Compared with the traditional techniques of the data encryption communication, the data encryption in database has its own characteristics and requests. The author decided to adopt the way of software encryption to improve data confidentiality in the system after analyzing the requirements of the database encryption, restriction and the granularity. Among the encryption algorithms, the author used AES encryption algorithm to encrypt the important data field in the database and the method of two-level-key-management was also adopted to organize the keys after encryption.
