With the rapid development of computer networking technology, electronic technique and communication technology, monitoring network is expanding continuously, the number of terminal equipment also keeps growing. Traditional methods (based on the SNMP Network Management System) can not effectively manage the large number of terminal equipment. Moreover, the safety performance is not satisfactory when comminications occur between the terminal equipment and the server.The matter is very urge how to overcome the shortage above.TR069 protocol is called the "CPE WAN network management protocol", one of the technical specifications developed by DSL Forum. It provides a common framework and protocol which manage and configure the network terminal equipment from the network side with a remote centralized management. Some people assert that the use of the protocol can meet different remote users'equipment management and configuration, which will replace the proprietary configuration protocol pertaining to other kinds of equipment and finally become the mainstream of the configuration based on IP-layer or the above level. So in theory it can solve the difficulty of managing the growing number of video monitoring network device.TR069 protocol-based network video monitoring system is a large number of support from the network side of the TR069 protocol for remote centralized management of user equipment. Therefore, the key question is how to ensure that the server-side to communicate with the terminal device when the network security issues and how to manage a large number of user equipment. This paper presents the key issues to address the specific method. The main achievements in this study are as follows:First, in this paper, a detailed comparaison was made between TR069 protocol and SNMP protocol, both of which are employed in traditional video monitoring network. Analysis was conducted with respect to TR069 protocol architecture, service Session handling procedures, security performance, RPC package, ACS discovery and the establishment of connection between CPE and ACS. An in-depth research was carried out on the SSL protocol, and compilation of the OpenSSL package under VS2008 was also completed.Then a research in the design process of each module in the TR069 protocol stack was carried through in this study, including the design method and design procedures of application modules, database module as well as scheduling module. In designing the HTTP server/client module, technology of gSOAP was used. Through the preparation of WSDL documents, the generation of C/C++ code for the RPC and XML Data Binding, and the employment of gSOAP development kit, the package on SOAP in the HTTP was completed, and thus the test on the HTTP server/client module was achieved.Finally, in the design and implementation of cryptographic authentication module, the structure of the SSL security module was carefully observed, using OpenSSL development package to achieve the handshake protocol and record protocol and materialze the encryption of data. At the same time an intensive analysis of encryption algorithm used in TR069 protocol was processed in the study.
