The Development Of A Special Controller For The Garbage Truck

Currently, international dedicated programmable controllers are used on vehicle electronic control system of the advanced garbage truck in china, such as Siemens, Mitsubishi and so on. However, we are unable to form our own products. Therefore, we select the compression type garbage truck as the control object, for its work requirements and the application of electrical equipment under the vehicle characteristics, developed a highly efficient, reliable controller.We have designed a special controller consistent with the work of garbage truck by analysis the structure and the working principle of the vehicle electrical control system and the controller is given the specific design process. First, we proposed the software and the hardware design methods from the analysis of the controlled system. Then, we determined the selection of the hardware to complete the hardware circuit design, designed system environment, the lower computer serial communication mechanism, and through the use of AVR to complete software design. In the design of temperature control system, we used the traditional PID control method. Finally, after the completion of the overall design, we have do the hardware and software debugging and anti-jamming circuit test to verify the feasibility of the controller that we designed.We described of the implementation process of the hardware modules, software design, and the typical application of the main algorithm in detail. Through the analysis of simulation result for the garbage truck control system, the controller we designed has achieved expected goal.
