System Construction Based On Embedded Linux And Research Of Desktop Application

Embedded technology is one of the most popular computer technology, with the rapid development of information technology and digital products, embedded systems have been widely popular and widely used. Embedded teaching and applied research is also being seriously many domestic universities, many universities now have carried out or planned courses related to embedded systems.For this purpose, this paper focus on the porting of linux kernel, the building of root file system, the analysis and implementation of serial port, network card and LCD, the porting methods of Qt4 GUI library on the hardware platform based on Samsung S3C2440 (ARM920T) microprocessor core. Finally, research on using C++ to develop desktop application based on Qt4.This paper make the theory of the embedded system into practice in order to quickly grasp the embedded system design and software development.Development of device drivers and desktop applications based on embedded Linux operating system to make embedded products meet user needs can make a real embedded system hardware and software can be cut, the good scalability characteristics of embedded Linux in particular, the inherent power of the network, so that it has a very good prospects in the consumer electronics, industrial measurement and control area.
