Economic Analysis Of Rural Community Development

This paper analyzes the development of rural community in Yongji, Shanxi, in the perspective of community economic development, with the attempt to seek a path on that rural community can rely on their own strength and maintain its independent growth. Through field study, the author talks about the story mainly in four aspects. First, about the growth of rural economy, analyzes the experiences of Puhan Community as a case, its economic development in terms of agriculture materials supply, cooperative micro‐finance, and the sustainability of community economy, which will serve as a base for social service. Second, from community economy to community service, mainly introduces the development process of community services after the economic growth. Thirdly, how rural community development is supported and driven by its economy. Finally, through the analysis of rural community organizations, the author summarizes that Puhan Community shows the characteristics of comprehensive farmers association, which is a form of effective organization for rural community development.The author holds that, according to the differences of rural situations, combined with the uses of rural social work professional methods and theoretical guidance, we can take the rural community as a whole, and then promote rural community development around its economy and social service. Community economy provides the material base to support community services, and raises the living standards of farmers, improves the quality of life of farmers, reduces the gap between rural and city community, finally raises farmer’s life happiness.
