MitizaneSugawara(845—903)can be said to be the representative C hinese poet in Heian period depending on the outstanding achieve ments in his creation of C hinese poetry,especially his pioneering work in aspect of the allegorical poems creation.Referencing to MitizaneSugawara’s life experience,his creation of allegorical poems can be divided into three periods:the early period,the middle period and the late period.Among the three periods,the middle period has the largest number of al egorical poems,and it also has the highest artistic achievement.MitizaneSugawara lived in the early stage of Heian period,his creation of allegorical poems took the development of Japanese traditional literature as an opportunity.These poems are rich in thought and content,mainly concluding:the satire of the sinister secular,the criticise of the officialdom darkness,and the sympathy for the people’s livelihood.The allegorical poems reflect this reality critical and satirical consciousness.It not only for the early stage of Heian period, but also for the entire Japanese poetry is very valuable.MitizaneSugawara’s allegory poems not only imitates the ideological content from allegorical poem of Bai Juyi(772- 846), but also uses the artistic expression for reference.In Japanese traditional literature, the neutral and aesthetic view of aesthetics is the mainstream.In particular, MitizaneSugawara intergrates the inherent traditional aesthetic concept of Japanese literature on the basis of imitation and reference.This makes the allegorical poems not only have profound ideological level,but also have prominent artistic features.Therefore,MitizaneSugawara’s allegory poems become a flag of the Heian Poetry,and have great academic research value.
