Zuo Zongtang’s Letters was a compilation of letters which were wrote to Zuo Zongtang’s family from 1852 to 1883. These letters were involved in a wide range of contents, including small household chores and national issues. Therefore, Zongtang’s Letters was both traditional general official family ancestral to teach children, and with the times of upheaval survival and development plans. We can understand the forming process of changing track and thought system of thought by reading this letters which is very important for us to study.
