The original stage of Han Wei and Six Dynasties family letters starts from the inheritance of real letters, wooden casket letters and it builds a profound literature and culture influence upon the prosperity of the Ming and Qin Dynasties, the Tang and Song Dynasties. This thesis makes an illustration of the shape and the types of the Han Wei and Six Dynasties family letters basing on the origin and development of the family profile from the text during the Han Wei and Six Dynasties period. It makes an analysis of the change and development regulations of family letters. Besides, it also makes an exploration of the value presented by family letters.This thesis is mainly divided into three parts:The first part mainly introduces the structure and the type of Han Wei’s and Six Dynasties’family letters. One emphasizes text structure of the writing system with other social etiquettes basing on the gradually independent, private development and evolution of family letters. The second part makes an illustration of main content s of Han Wei and Six Dynasties letters from the relationship between father and son (nephew), couples, brothers and sisters, and the clans.
