An Anthropological Study

A drama is a comprehensive art, but its presence relate closely with the religious ceremonies, which is a sign of maturity to a national art,So does the Buyi drama to Existing among Buyi in the past, and nowadays mainly maintaining Ceheng county in the southwest of Guizhou province. However the Buyi drama is a simple drama, exists some traces of early dramas,including ceremonies,other performing arts,cultural types and cultural details. Therefore, the Buyi drama in Ceheng county in the southwest of Guizhou province has the form of drama as well as some changes and processes of country ceremonies,and is a local drama with the form of original drama,a characteristic of a national language. During the performance,people can communicate with secular world and holy world by ceremonies to thank you for gods and share the drama between common people and gods. At the some time, it also performs on secular stories, which include some indoctrination of localization,entertainment and aesthetic, sharing gods as well as people. Moreover,the Buyi drama is crystallization of Buyi wisdom, a product with national characteristic,and is a important symbol of nation. Through the Buyi drama,people can know belief and ceremonies of country as well aesthetic culture in Buyi,including clothes,musics,folk literature and so on. Therefore,not only does the Buyi drama present aesthetic and entertainment,but also it conveys inner concepts and ideas.This paper starts from the current review of the studies on Buyi, then elaborates the origin and the distribution of the Buyi drama. Ceremony theory of cultural anthropology, field theory and drama anthropology theory, all have been used to analysis on a seriesof anthropological researches Buyi drama. In addition, in the present state of existing the Buyi drama to analysis the Buyi drama by typology,it is divided into three types: the Ritual drama type, the transitional type drama, the rural-entertainment drama type. On the basis of the research of the Buyi drama,the paper will summarizevillage ceremonies as well as explain the relation of Buyi drama and rural ceremonies. I Think that the Buyi drama has been certainly similar with all the human drama in their origins, namely performing drama originated in ceremonies on the religious culture. Finally,explainingthe related cultural bythe Buyi drama.according to the research of the Buyi drama, we can get more deeply understanding about Buyi drama art and culture, andprovidea more lively discussion to the study of drama anthropology, makethe more researches of Nuo drama of Guizhou be of greater cultural anthropology study theory to adapt.The article is divided into three parts, the first part is the first chapter,namely introduction. The second part is the body of the article, namely, it is from the second chapter to the sixth chapter. The third part is conclusion,which is the seventh chapter of the paper.In the first chapter,the Buyi drama anthropology research both in the introduction of combed the ritual drama research in Guizhou, also reviewed the Buyi drama research, also narrates the research method and use of the theory. In the second chapter, the overview of Guizhou province and Buyi drama the social and cultural environment.In the third chapter, through on-the-spot investigation and reference to the related literature materials, the paper will explain distribution, origin and the present situation of the Buyi drama. The earliest origin of Buyi drama the can be traced back to the Qing dynasty, the basic distribution in the Nanpan river basin, multiple regions have appeared it in the early years of southwest of Guizhou province, but now the mainlyexisted Ceheng country in southwest of Guizhou province county territory, so it is also called the Buyi drama of Ceheng.In the fourth chapter, has carried on the classification of typology study to Buyi drama and expression, the Buyi drama can be divided into: the ritual drama type, transitional type, countryside entertaining drama types. This paper discusses the present situation of both Buyi drama, and expressed the Buyi drama still exist the development and change.In the fifth chapter, on the basis of overall grasp on the Buyi nationality’s village ritual,it further explains the ceremonies of the Buyi drama, the existence of elements of drama on the ceremonies, and the influence for the occurrence and development of the Buyi drama. In these discussions, we can see the significance of the Buyi drama’s form on the Genesis of drama, the initial form on the human drama presentby the Buyi drama, and the relationship between ritual and drama, as well as for integrating capacity on national and regional arts.In the sixth chapter,Buyi drama is a microcosm of Buyi culture. It mainly from the three aspects to expound. Firstly, it embodies that the the learning of Buyi from Han nationality is the "double reconstruction" of Buyi and Han culture. Secondly, through the analysis on types, it is a transformation from "divinity drama" to "aesthetic drama". Finally, we can understand aesthetic Buyi culture through Buyi drama,and it reflects on the music, costume, folk literature.In the sixth chapter,through the study of Buyi drama, the ethnic group and art on Buyi can be comprehended. Meanwhile, the characters of Buyi drama is a rather typical example to drama anthropology of world.
