A Study On The Teaching Of Animal Words In Chinese As A Foreign Language

During living and production practices, people created some animals related vocabularies according to the appearances, life habits and some fables of their surrounding animals.Those vocabularies are spread mouth to mouth and are gradually active in people’s communication, and became a unique branch in Chinese vocabulary collection.These vocabularies are Chinese culture-loaded terms and are flexible in both form and structure, which brings great difficulties to teach Chinese as a foreign language. Basing on this, this paper first collected animal related vocabularies from “Developing Chinese Language”,”Climbing” and HSK level 6 vocabularies,and picked out high frequent vocabularies after collection and classification.Then,this paper found the animal related biased error sentences made by foreign students in HSK dynamic writing language database. And after analysis on these errors, this paper gave corresponding measures on animal related Chinese vocabularies teaching and textbook compiling.
