The Theory Of Governance (Chapter Six) English - Chinese Translation Practice Report

The theory of Governance, as a work of management, whose content is very informative, discusses this theory from different aspects in detail. Until now, there is no English version of this book, and chapter six---civic choice which is chosen as the translation practice material, proceeding from historical and theoretical view, probes into the close connection between choice and governance. The structure of “one verb with several objects and the adjunct adverbial are more than 40% in the material. This article is designed to summarize in the translation methods and strategies of the adjunct adverbial and the structure of “one verb with several objects”. In the process of translation practice, this article mainly introduces the applicable methods such as conversion of the adverbial and the verb, method of structured analysis, the method of logical sequence to solve the language problems, including words and sentences. Hope that through summary and reflection of this translation practice, some experience and reference for management works can be accumulated.
