Abstract/Summary:
Ewenki is an ancient ethnic group with traditional culture.The oral epic Baoriledai Moriken has been treated as the oral epic of Buryat people for a long time but only a few people realized that both of the recorder and the singer of the oral epic Baoriledai Moriken are Turgus-Ewenki people.Turgus-Ewenki is one of the three tribes of Ewenki.They have uniqe history and splendid national culture.Turgus-Ewenki people and Buryat people had been lived in the area of Baikal since 17 century,they influenced each other in life style, folklore and religion. Baoriledai Moriken was spreaded and processed by both of the two nationalities.This is a common phenomenon in multi-ethnic areas.This paper compares oral epic Baoriledai Moriken and Russian Ewenki oral epic Strong Suodani Worrior through their contents, motives and characters to find out the Ewenki culture of Baoriledai Moriken.The first chapter mainly introduces the contents and back grounds of Baoriledai Moriken and Strong Suodani Worrior.The second chapter mainly compares the motives of the two oral epics and discusses the reasons of different motives.The third chapter compares the images of the two oral epics and explores the similarities and the differences between those images.The conclusion part summarizes the above issues, Baoriledai Moriken is a mutual oral epic by Turgus-Ewinki people and Buryat people,it sure contains Turgus-Ewenki’s culture.
