The Art Of Graffiti In Shanghai

I love Shanghai where I grew up more than anyone else, and I am deeply fascinated by Shanghai-styled culture. The development of society has witnessed the loss of local culture and the modern style of the city. However, fewer people now can speak Shanghai dialect, and even the students in primary and middle schools are not allowed to speak Shanghai dialect, which worries me a lot. I am afraid to see a new Shanghai, international metropolis without its traditional culture. Instead, I am eager to see that an increasing people know and can speak Shanghai dialect. When I was captivated by the western graffiti culture that reminded me that only graffiti culture could help me to promote Shanghai dialect. Since then, a lot of my works about Shanghai can be seen in the cit. Now I’m trying no efforts to explore and then try to find an art form to promote Shanghai dialect.
