A Comparative Study Of Phonetics Between The East And The West In Qinshui County

Qinshui County is located in the southeast of Shanxi Province, and it belongs to jincheng city. Qinshui County is divided into two portions by the county town, including the east region and the west region The east region of Qinshui County dialect and the west region of Qinshui County(including the county town) dialect belong to different dialects. The east region of Qinshui County has obvious entering tone, belonging to jin dialect. The west region of Qinshui County has not obvious entering tone, belonging to zhongyuan Mandarin. The paper is used to describe and compare the east region of Qinshui County dialect and the west region of Qinshui County dialect in detail.The article has five chapters:Chapter One mainly introduces the geographical position, administrative division, evolving organizational structure of Qinshui County, the definition, subregion, present research situation of the east region of Qinshui County dialect and the west region of Qinshui County dialect, and explains the value and the method of the study in the paper.Chapter Two describes the phonology, compare the initials,fanals and tones of the east region of Qinshui County dialect and the west region of Qinshui County dialect,and summarize the similarities and differences about the two dialects.Chapter Three compares the initials,fanals and tones of the east region of Qinshui County dialect and the west region of Qinshui County dialect with the middle ancient phonetics. Mainly from zhi group,zhuang group and zhang group and middle ancient secondary voiced initial to explore initials,from yin rhymt,yang rhyme,ru rhyme to expore fanals,from pingsheng,shangsheng,qusheng,rushing to expore tones. This part will compare dialects phonetic evolution rule from the diachronic perspective.Chapter Four explores feature of entering tone about the east region of Qinshui County dialect and surrounding Jin dialect, analyze their difference of entering tone.Chapter five tries to find out the cause of the dialect division from the perspective of social linguistics, discuss the interaction between the east region of Qinshui County dialect and the west region of Qinshui County dialect from two aspects of internal and external factors.Through the investigation and analysis about the east region of Qinshui County dialect and the west region of Qinshui County dialect, this paper will present the pronunciation about the two dialects from a certain extent, explore the similarities and differences about the two dialects, play an active role to better understand and study the Qinshui dialect. At the same time, the paper still exists deficiencies, and I need to make more efforts to improve and perfect the research.
