Diachronic Study Of Metaphor In The Report On Chinese Government 's Work From 2010 To

This article study the Chinese government work report(hereinafter referred to as "report") from 2010-2015 from the concept of metaphor, interpersonal metaphor and textual metaphor,the distribution of metaphor in the report, based on the studies of different types of metaphor,I have found that the metaphor in the report has a very distinctive features: first, the selection of metaphor in different literature style(use this kind of style to compare just for convenience), most metaphors belong to conventional metaphor; Second, the diversification of conceptual metaphors make the abstract concepts more concrete and easy to understand, and increases the readability of the report, interpersonal metaphors make the report and the listener more closely, textual metaphors make the report more stylistic, strengthen the significance of the report structure, strengthening the interactive communication of text; Third, the use of metaphor vividly depicts the process of China’s development,strengthen the understanding of the country and the major policies for people.
