A Study Of The Language Style Of Xi

This paper mainly applies method of statistical analysis and method which is combining quantitative analysis with qualitative analysis to depict Xi’s linguistic elements and to stress the key point to present his language style to the largest extent. Firstly, this paper starts from the elements of Xi’s discourses to conclude the features that he uses words effectively, speaks colloquial language abundantly, and cites quotation plentifully.Secondly, according to the features of elements of Xi’s discourses, this paper concludes the property of Xi’s political comment style and the the common features----stand is clear-cut, the logic is rigorous, and his own individual style is a combination of inflexibility and yielding. Thirdly, according to Xi’s attribute of language and his language style, from the subjective and objective perspectives, this paper gets the conclusion that the reasons for the forming of Xi’s language style are the political and economic development, intercultural reference and his own individuality and experience.Finally, this paper researches the present effects of Xi’s discourses to the political comment style, and offers a proposal to leaders’ usage of language.
