Discourse Study Of Xi Jinping's Political Theory

From the perspective of discourse analysis,the object of this study is Xi Jinping’s political discourse.The research method is linguistics and stylistics.Based on the research methods of text linguistics and stylistics,this paper discusses the characteristics of Xi Jinping’s political discourse from the aspects of cohesion,style and significance.The paper consists of four chapters:The introduction part mainly introduces the research content of this paper,including research object,purpose,source of materials,etc;The first chapter is to sort out the domestic and foreign related research status,and explain the related theoretical issues involved in this paper;The second chapter mainly analyzes the cohesion in the discourse of Xi Jinping politics,including lexical cohesion,logical cohesion,grammatical cohesion and structural cohesion,the cohesion mechanism of the text is discussed;The third chapter mainly analyzes the characteristics of vocabulary,sentence patterns and rhetoric in Xi Jinping’s discourse;The fourth chapter mainly analyzes the significance of Xi Jinping’s discourse on establishing a national image at home and abroad;The conclusion part summarizes the whole paper and points out the shortcomings of this study.
