A Study Of Adverbials In The Warring States

“Zhanguo Zonghengjia Shu” is edited by Han Tombs silk manuscripts editing teams according to the Western Han Dynasty silk manuscripts unearthed in Changsha No. three Mawangdui Han Dynasty tomb in 1973. Original silk manuscripts should be done during the period of the late Warring States or the early Western Han Dynasty.Firstly, this paper dose some setting and quantitative analysis by taking “Zhanguo Zonghengjia Shu”,which is a Han Tombs silk manuscripts,as language corpus. And it makes more comprehensive description and analysis for the adverbial in the“Zhanguo Zonghengjia Shu”.By vocabulary statistics methods to analyze these language corpus,this paper comprehensively and systematically combs the adverbial composition in the book. What can be independently used as adverbial is adverbs,nouns, adjectives, numerals, pronouns, verbs, and prepositional phrases. It then analyzes features of 6 types of words and one type of phrases are used as adverbial alone. Secondly, this paper analyzes multiple adverbials pattern from the perspective of the principle of combination, and classifies the combination of multiple adverbials in “Zhanguo Zonghengjia Shu” in detail. Finally, this paper analyzes usages of head modified by adverbial in the book. It mainly analyzes the usages of the adverbial in the book from the perspective of language development, and sums up language features of the adverbial use only, and the adverbial sharing and its head.
